ACADEMY SESSIONS
Academy Sessions are group training sessions with focus on a specific skill or position. The number of athletes are limited for each session to ensure a high level of reps.
WHAT IS THE FOCUS OF EACH ACADEMY? Setter Academy Setter Academy is a specialized training program designed to develop confident, consistent, and high-IQ volleyball setters. Athletes will focus on footwork, hand positioning, decision-making, tempo control, and leadership skills essential for running an effective offense. Training sessions emphasize game-like repetitions, communication, and the ability to deliver accurate sets from any position on the court. Whether athletes are preparing for school, club, or collegiate volleyball, Setter Academy helps setters elevate their technique, court awareness, and overall impact on the game. Air Academy Air Academy is designed for volleyball athletes who want to become more explosive, efficient, and dominant at the net. Training focuses on attacking, blocking, footwork, jump mechanics, and proper arm swing development to maximize power and prevent injury. Athletes learn how to generate better timing, reach, and court awareness through high-repetition, position-specific drills and game-like situations. Whether players are middle blockers, outside hitters, or right-side attackers, Air Academy helps athletes build the tools needed to compete at a higher level. Ground Academy Ground Academy is built for athletes who want to strengthen their backrow game through elite ball control and defensive training. Sessions focus on serving, passing mechanics, defensive techniques, and out-of-system setting skills that are critical during live play. Athletes will develop better platform control, court awareness, communication, and the ability to keep plays alive under pressure. This training is ideal for liberos, defensive specialists, and players looking to become a more reliable and complete back row athlete. Flight School + Boot Camp Flight School is designed to help athletes jump higher and attack more efficiently. Sessions emphasize proper jumping mechanics, safe landing technique, proper arm swing mechanics, and volleyball-specific movement patterns designed to improve both performance and durability. Boot Camp provides comprehensive athletic training that incorporates plyometrics, core work, and yoga to improve vertical leap, body control, and stability. This training will help athletes increase vertical leap, power output, and jumping endurance to sustain them through long matches and tournaments. Whether preparing for higher-level competition or building a stronger athletic foundation, Flight School + Boot Camp helps players elevate every aspect of their game above the net.
IS X1 OR X2 APPROPRIATE FOR MY ATHLETE? X1 These sessions are for younger and less experienced athletes such as those in middle school or those that are new to the position or skill. Coaching will focus on introducing the fundaments of the skill or position. X2 These sessions are for older and more experienced athletes such as those in high school and playing at or near a varsity level. Athletes are expected to be able to work together at a high level to aid in each others training.
